Spiced Honey Buttercream

Sweet, creamy, and lightly spiced! We always use local honey whenever we can, in this case we used wildflower honey, but feel free to experiment with other varieties.
  • 4 sticks (2 cups) unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 4 tablespoons wildflower honey
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 5 cups confectioners sugar, sifted
  1. Beat the butter, honey, and ground cinnamon at medium speed in an electric mixer until fluffy.
  2. Reduce the speed to low and slowly add the confectioners' sugar.
  3. Beat until smooth.
  4. If consistency is too runny, add additional confectioners sugar a little at a time.
Option: Add more cinnamon to taste.
