Red Velvet Cupcakes

Three years ago this week we published our first blog post! Some of you may remember the beautiful Red Velvet Cupcakes we made… we’ve decided to take a walk down memory lane and try them again!

This time we made them with our Whipped Vanilla Bean Frosting, instead of the traditional Cream Cheese Frosting, and they were even more delicious. Not to mention, they could be a great treat for Valentines Day, which is just around the corner.


Technical Tip

You may be tempted to cut corners and use all-purpose flour instead of cake flour… don’t do it! It makes a huge difference in the texture of this cake. If you find yourself without cake flour, check out this tip to see how to make your own, using all-purpose flour and corn starch!
