The other weekend after months of prep work and a week of running around and two very long days in Ari’s kitchen, we pulled it off, our very own Tea Party! We covered the gambit from cupcakes to scones, petit fours to truffles, not to mention homemade jams and tea sandwiches. The table overflowed with delicacies!
Since March, Ari and I have been developing recipes and a menu that would make our guests feel like princesses, as well as expand our abilities in developing flavor profiles for confections focusing on tea in its many forms. Everything on our menu, minus one or two items, had tea infused or baked right in.
We found that using tea as a main ingredient opened up so many flavor combinations that it almost made our heads explode!
